We are proud to announce that The Spitfire Sisters will be performing at IpSwing on Friday 20 July 2018. They will be the opening acts of this inaugural festival.
Make sure you don’t miss this internationally acclaimed vintage, inspired band with three-part vocal harmony at its core. They perform an eclectic mix of songs including tunes from their self-penned album ‘Put Your Phone Away’, classic repertoire from the 1940s and modern songs with a vintage twist. They sing and play their saxophones and flutes with backing musicians to suit the occasion.
The Spitfire Sisters regularly perform for Belmond on board the British Pullman (they love it so much it even got a mention in one of their songs). Recently they have performed on The Venice-Simplon Orient Express. They have also performed at:
Larmer Tree Festival, The Shard, Highclere Castle, The Goodwood Revival, Twinwood Festival, Claridges, Roundhouse, The Tower of London and Winchester Jazz Festival.
