Arrival and departure

Access to the festival site will be from 5.00pm on Friday 12 July 2019, to allow for setup of tents. The site must be fully vacated by 7pm on Sunday 14 July 2019.
Please respect these times as we have to return the site to the state we found it ready for first thing on Monday morning. When you leave please ensure that you clear all of your rubbish either into one of the dumpsters or better still, take it away with you.

Parking at IpSwing

Ample on site parking is available for cars, motorcycles and bicycles. On arrival you will be directed to the parking area.

Accommodation at IpSwing

We are providing accommodation in 55 spacious bell tents, 5m diameter and 3m high. You have the option to book an entire tent for your exclusive use, this can be configured to accommodate up to five people. Alternatively, you can book a single space in a shared tent of up to four people. The shared tents will either be solely male or female, or some will be mixed. The choice is yours! Each tent is equipped with electrical power, suitable for charging phones, but not for heating devices, including hair dryers, straighteners, kettles, etc. We will provide camp beds for the number of people in your tent, but you will need to bring your own bedding, such as a pillow and sleeping bag. Fold up chairs could be useful.

Food and beverages

We have an on-site catering team who will be preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner. They will provide vegetarian options. Plus there will be a trader serving noodles

Hot and cold drinks will be available at all times. They will also provide a licenced bar service! There will be picnic tables available to eat at.

Cash and card payments are accepted.

Camping

For those of you not wishing to take advantage of the bell tent accommodation, there are pitches available for tents, camper vans and caravans. Please note that electric hook-up is not available. You will have access to the toilet and shower facilities.

Nearby facilities

There is a Sainsbury’s store less than a mile away, with all the usual facilities, including fuel and cash machines. We suggest the blue route as you may not be able to get access through the Events Centre.
Ipswich Hospital is just 2.5 miles away, but hopefully you won’t need it!

There are 4 golf courses close-by, should your “other half” want something different!

Health and Safety at IpSwing

Fires are not permitted in the vicinity of the bell tents. Cooking is not permitted in the vicinity of the bell tents. Please ensure all electrical items are unplugged when the tent is unoccupied.

First aid cover will be provided on site.

FAQs

Are children welcome?

Yes of course, this is a family event!

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, no pets are allowed on site. Although most owners are responsible, we cannot take the risk of having to clean up mess or repairing any damage caused in time to hand the site back.

Are bicycles allowed?

Yes, bicycles are welcomed on site, but must be left in the designated bicycle parking area.

Are barbecues allowed?

Due to fire risk, no cooking is permitted in the vicinity of the bell tents. However, small barbecues and camping stoves may be used in the independent camping pitches.

Will there be gluten-free food there?

Yes, there will be gluten-free options available. We are catering for all dietary requirements, just let us know.
